This position is open to a student entering or continuing full time post-secondary in the fall of 2021 and a resident of Nova Scotia (at least six months prior to the beginning of the work term)
This is an excellent opportunity to receive a wide variety of event-co-ordination, administrative and organizational skills. The successful candidate will assist with planning and promoting events, information tracking and customer service in person, email and phone with participants, the public, volunteers and sponsors. This role requires an individual that is able to multi task, be able to adapt to shifting priorities and be a clear communicator. Follow and promote our Covid-19 Protocols. Familiarity with Google Suite, Adobe and various social media platforms considered an asset. Occasional weekends will be required. This is a 12-week position, pay rate of $13.10/hour for approximately 37.5 hrs/week. The start and end date has some flexibility for the right candidate.
